A brief introduction to Relational Intelligence in Contact Improvisation
This movement workshop will introduce dancers to body-based practices that rethink and retrain our relational skills through understanding how our embodied states influence our communicative impact and abilities.
Moving with the energies of Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Ether we will cultivate these qualities in ourselves and our Contact Improvisation dances. Join us to deepen, in connection with self, other, and the living environment.

Explore the Japanese art of Kintsugi and the philosophy of Wabi Sabi as a means of self-acceptance and healing. No artistic skills necessary, all materials provided. Approximately 6 hours with a break for lunch.
A women’s weekend of journal making, meditation, movement, connection, and creativity. Over the course of the retreat, we will make our own paper and create hand-bound journals in which to write and paint, incorporating natural objects found in the forest! This reflective process will be supported by guided meditation, movement sessions, delicious food, good community, and plenty of time to follow your own inspiration.
