Connect to your creative spirit at Vocal Tapestry - a safe and fun space to weave together the principles of spontaneous composition, such as rhythm, melody, and dynamics. Each week, we will play games and learn practices that focus on a specific element of vocal improvisation to develop your awareness, skills, and confidence.
Yin-Restore with Niki (in-person or online)
6-7.30pm Tuesday evenings starting November 5th (90 mins)
A Yin/ Restorative practice that uses props & longer holding poses to stimulate the ‘relaxation response’. I aim to hold space for folks and guide them to play with their edge, release control and let gravity do the work. Join in-person or online. A link to the online class will be sent once you register.
$15-25 (BIPOC - pay what you can)
Rise & Shine with Niki (in-person or online)
7.30-8.20am Thursday mornings starting November 7th (50 mins)
Rise & Shine - Kickstart your day with this class by working with your body & breath. A physical practice that focuses on strength, flexibility, breath and balance through static or linked poses, mandala flows, and challenging ‘peak pose’ flows to bring you into your bodies and onto your mats, leaving you blissfully energized and ready for your day. We will use Hatha & Vinyasa yoga to help improve internal and external stability. While some knowledge of basic yoga asanas can be helpful, it doesn’t matter where you are on your yoga journey, by attending regularly you will benefit from advancing your yoga practice and challenging yourself daily. Join in-person or online. A link to the online class will be sent once you register.
